REVELATION CHAPTER 8
1. And as he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2. And I saw the seven angels who stood before Allaha, and they were given seven trumpets.
3. And another angel came and stood over the altar, and he had a golden vessel* and he was given a great deal of incense, so that he may offer it in the prayers of all the saints over the golden altar before the throne.
4. There rose the perfume of incense of the saints’ prayers from the hand of the angel before Allaha . 5. And the angel set the vessel and filled it with the fire from the altar and he hurled it on the earth and there followed* thunder and lightening and explosions and earthquake.
6. And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared* themselves so as to blow* [the trumpets.]
7. And the first one blew, and there followed hail and fire that are carried* by water, and they were hurled upon the earth, and one third of the earth was burned and one third of all native vegetables were burned.
8. And the second angel blew, and like a great mountain on fire burning was hurled into the sea, and also one third of the sea turned* into blood.
9. And one third of all water creatures* died, those that had life*, and one third of the boats were wrecked.
10. And the third angel blew and a star fell from the sky burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and water springs.
11. And the name of the star is called Absinthus*, and a third of the waters turned to Absinthen* and much of mankind died from the water because they became ill.
12. And the fourth angel blew, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon was destroyed* and a third of the stars, so that one third of them were shrouded in darkness, and one third of their days would not [see] dawn, and their nights would likewise be shortened.*
13. And I saw and heard an angel that flies in the center of the sky, that carries a bloody trail,* as he said in a loud voice, “Woe! Woe to those who dwell on earth, from the sounds of the trumpets of the three angels who are prepared to blow.”

1. 그리고 일곱 번째 봉인을 열자 하늘에는 30분 정도 침묵이 흘렀다.
2. 알라하 앞에 서 있는 일곱 천사를 보았는데, 그들에게 일곱 개의 나팔이 주어졌다.
3. 그리고 또 다른 천사가 와서 제단 위에 섰는데, 그는 금그릇*을 가지고 있었고, 그는 많은 향료를 받았다. 그래서 그는 왕위 앞에 있는 금제단 위에 있는 모든 성인들의 기도로 그것을 바칠 것이다.
4. 알라하 앞에 있는 천사의 손에서 성도의 기도의 향수가 솟아났다.
5. 그리고 천사는 그릇을 세우고 제단의 불로 채웠고 그는 그것을 땅에 던졌고 그 뒤를 따랐다* 천둥과 번개와 폭발과 지진이 일어났다.
6. 그리고 일곱 개의 나팔을 가지고 있던 일곱 천사들은 불려고* 준비를 했다* [나팔 소리.]
7. 그리고 첫 번째가 불자, 그곳에는 우박과 불이 뒤따랐고* 물 때문에 실려온 우박과 불이 뒤따랐고, 그것들은 땅에 던져졌고, 땅의 3분의 1이 불에 탔고, 모든 토착 야채의 3분의 1이 불에 탔다.
8. 그리고 두 번째 천사가 불타는 거대한 산처럼 바다에 던져졌고, 또한 바다의 3분의 1이 피로 변했다*
9. 그리고 모든 물 생물 중 3분의 1이 죽었고, 생명을 가진 생물*, 그리고 3분의 1이 난파되었다.
10. 그리고 세 번째 천사가 불어서 하늘에서 별이 횃불처럼 타오르면서 강물과 물샘의 3분의 1에 떨어졌다.
11. 그리고 별의 이름을 압신토스(쑥술)*라고 하는데, 물의 1/3이 쑥술로 변했고 인류의 상당 부분이 병에 걸려 물에서 죽었다.
12. 그리고 네 번째 천사가 불었고, 태양 3분의 1과 달의 3분의 1이 파괴되었다* 그리고 별 3분의 1이 어둠에 싸여 있었고, 하루의 3분의 1이 새벽을 보지 못했으며, 그들의 밤은 마찬가지로 짧아졌다.*
13. 그리고 하늘 한가운데 날아가는 천사를 보고 들었다.
핏자국이 있는 곳이지,*
그가 큰 목소리로 말했듯이,
`애통하여라 ! 땅 위에 사는 자들에게 화가 있으리니,
나팔 불 준비를 하는 세 천사의 나팔 소리로부터."
